Lion Walk Church

Welcome to the website of Lion Walk United Reformed Church, in Colchester, Essex, UK.

With regret, and after much heart-searching, in the light of the current health crisis all Church events have been cancelled until further notice. This includes both morning and evening Sunday worship services.
If you need help or need to speak to someone from the Church please call the Minister on 01206 547920 or the Church Secretary on 01206 575489. Or you can email the Minister here:
May God’s blessing be upon you.

The Minister writes: You can follow the links below for some thoughts and prayers for each Sunday..  I hope that, while the church building is closed for public worship, these brief and simple devotions might in some way help to maintain a sense of community worship as we use the same words on the same day.  I invite you to read through them – or read them aloud – on Sunday morning.  I hope to produce something similar for each Sunday until we are able to worship together again.

Devotions 22nd March 2020

Devotions 29th March 2020

You can join in the worship of the wider United Reformed Church family by subscribing to ‘URC Daily Devotions’, which, from Sunday 22nd March will include a weekly radio style/podcast service with hymns, readings, prayers and a sermon.  The Sunday service e-mail will include an order of service and words for you to sing along with the hymns.
I’d urge you to subscribe to this at: URC Daily Devotions

Many thanks,
