Walking Group – walks are generally for around 6 miles, before lunch at a pub. This group is very popular and, although friends are very welcome, we do have a maximum number for safety reasons and to allow us to enjoy lunch in the chosen venue! If you are interested, please see the Contact Us page.
For our members and visitors, we produce a magazine called Lion Talk each month (though we give our Editor a month off in August and in January!). This is available in print and by email. Lion Talk contains church-related and topical articles, as well as family news. It also contains thoughts from our Minister, which may appear on the Words from our Minister page.
Baptisms: Infant baptisms are held during the morning service. Please contact the Minister on the Contact Us page for further details.
Weddings: Ministers have been willing to talk to and, when appropriate, conduct the weddings of couples where previous marriages have broken down. Please contact the Minister on the Contact Us page for further details.
Funerals: The minister receives a certain number of outside requests, mainly from people with a Presbyterian background. Contact is generally made through local Funeral Directors.
